Scott Pilgrim’s Finest Hour (#6) by Bryan Lee O’Malley

“I don’t think I’m ready to be a grown up ,”

Yet again it’s tricky to fully review the last volume in a series as it doesn’t need to prove anything as such. It just needs a good ending.

This volume continues more or less where it left off. It was nice to see that some characters had shown some maturity, or at least some awareness that they are flawed.

Yet again it shows awareness that it is a comic book, which was yet again amusing. This volume has the strongest element of unreality about it which it doesn’t really need and tries to much to be more about every flash bang wallop.

It was nice to see character development among main characters, who identify their own need to change and become better people. I don’t think I’d be reading this series again any time soon but I definitely enjoyed it just the same.

MY RATING: **** / *****
