With this book, I think a certain degree of patience is required. It starts off slowly, but little by little, this somewhat shocking (for its time) book reveals its secrets.
The story of an elderly amusement park worker, Eddie, who is killed trying to save the life of a little girl. He meets five people whose life he impacted upon in some way or another. And then he learns about life, love, family and letting go.
I actually fell into the whole hype of the book. And I don’t know if that’s a bad thing or not.
I am actually going to write a review about a book that I couldn’t finish. There’s a first time for everything.
